The Peace Pagoda is initiating a short prayer walk on Wed. 10/12/22 from Hadley to Rep. McGovern’s Northampton Office. The purpose of the walk is to talk with Rep. McGovern about an urgent letter from the Progressive Caucus to Pres. Biden, urgently requesting the President to choose the path of diplomacy to end the suffering in Ukraine, rather than the current policy of more and more lethal weapons.  So far, Rep. McGovern has not signed the letter to President Biden; his constituents’ voices are essential for him to hear.

Walk Gathers: starting at 1pm
Walk Begins: 1:30pm
Walk Gathering Venue: Congregational Church of Hadley, 102 Middle St. Hadley (corner of Rte. 9 and Middle St, Hadley)
Walk ends: Congressman Jim McGovern’s Office, 94 Pleasant St.,Northampton.  A 2:30 pm appointment has been set up by Paki Wieland
