The new temple next to the Peace Pagoda was inaugurated in 2011.

Morning and evening prayers, Buddhist ceremonies, interfaith gatherings and many other events take place in the temple.

There is always work to be done to upkeep the temple and volunteers are always appreciated.

Work projects include:

• Pagoda – repairs, painting, decorating
• Temple – 3^rd floor drywall and finishing
• Landscaping – stonewall building, planting shrubs, establishing gardens
• Organizing & Beautifying
• Building a small Japanese bathhouse behind the temple is a goal for 2026-2027; designers & builders needed
